In late March, I served as Director of Photography with Daily Wire and Abbson to light and shoot an interview with Vice President Mike Pence and Dr. Deborah Birx for Ben Shapiro’s Sunday Special. Ultra-high-profile, rapid-setup, can’t-fail stakes, all with a heavy mixture of carefully almost-aseptic gear handling and social distancing. Hopefully years of experience filming in surgical suites helped in some small way.
